how do i sort water flowing from cistern to toilet?

by sound of it you need to adjust water inlet level it seems to over flowing in to the inbuilt over flow which is obviously designed to accomodate overflow systems where an external pipe can't be ftitted, also it's neater, presenting no chance of flooding the bathroom.
