06 Renault Megane Front Passenger window stuck down?

renault will pay 75% it just cost me £91 instead of nearly 400

The afore mentioned re. 4yr. warranty is factual; I have just had a new window regulator on my cabro, FOC (registered Nov. 2005).

Renault have extended the warranty period for faulty window regulators (Which is normally the problem with Megane windows) to 4 years or 70,000 miles which ever is first, due to the amount of complaints received by customers.If you car is outside this period they will help towards the cost of a repair as a 'goodwill gesture'.
Try contacting your local Renault garage to have it fixed. I had the same problem and Renault have just repaired my window under this warranty.

I have the same problem with the back window (see renault megane 2 electric window question) if you remove the bank of front window terminals from the drivers door switch and do the same with the rear you should be able to connect the front terminals to the rear temporarily so you can raise the window. now put back as before but it may come down again if you connect the front switch. I have replaced the rear switch on mine and it still has the fault. ???

another way is to wait for atleast two mins with the ign off , then dissconnect and reconnect the battery and double lock car with fob then repeat as the window only goes up 2in a time ( you don't have to wait 2 mins each time ,just initially) . Have had it in the past where it has gone down again on it's own the next day
