i bought a vauxhall corsa envoy 12v a few weeks ago and cant afford to keep it now as insurance is high for first time driver so need to get rid of it. someone came and bought it today.. then came back half hour later saying it conked out when going up a hill. He said if i get ECU repaired he will buy it again... how much would ECU repair be for it? roughly?
how do you know the ecu is at fault ..dont buy a ecu until you have had the vehicle properly diagnosed you could be spending a lot of money for nothing it could be something as simple as say a crank angle sensor

Have a look at www.autotekelectronics.com they sell service exchange ECU's at a lot less than the main dealers, but you will then need to get the immobilizer re-coded but they might be able to set it to your exsiting settings!
