been there didnt do that..........dont try fixing your play station......your best bet is to have it proffessionaly repaired or if thats to costly then consider buying a good second hand model theres loads of cheap ps2's on the market since the release of the ps3......i bought two ps2's at a car bootsale along with 23games all in good nick for 85quid.....your talkin at least 40quid or more for rapairs...
