How can I fix my Diplomat dishwasher?

I have a Diplomat dishwasher (The exact model is not displayed) When switched on it makes a whirring noise but water does not seem to be coming through. I tried the four button key press and now buttons 1 (rinse) is always on and button 5 (pan wash) flashes. When closing the door the whirring noise continues and what sounds to be a trickle of water, but nothing else.

Any ideas would be most appreciated, the website looks to have a good success rate!
