how can I replace a bulb in AKAI 55 inch TV Model# PT5492?

my tv blew a bulb how do i replace it and what will it cost

call a qualified tv repairman
but your Akai PT5492 does not use "bulbs"
It has three crt's (picture tubes)
If one is faulty, very likely being a Akai (Samsung made TV) these have a history of leaking crt coolant and also the crt circuit boards video ic shorts out.

they have the worst picture I have ever seen on a big screen tv even when it was new

I have been servicing TV's since 1974 and believe me when I say throw out this TV and buy a Samsung LCD flat panel TV or a Plasma or Panasonic Plasma
