MIRA sports - water too hot then too cold?

We have a Mira Sports shower, recently the low pressure light has been coming on, and water either freezing cold, or scorching hot. Water pressure in house good, but can hear a 'clicking' noise in the shower unit just before it goes hot or cold - any suggestions ?
