how can I assess my system when I have lost the code?

Hi I have moved into my bungalow that has a scantronic 9600 alarm fitted the previous owner left me the code on a piece of paper that I have lost
please could you tell me how to change the code as it wont let me do anything without putting the code in first Thanks Liz Taylor
