what is wrong with my life fitness stepper/ski/strider !! ??

I brought a ski machine i call it,its like a cross trainer with out the moving arms, from a gym when they closed down 6 months ago,it was working ok i got few 20 min sessions from it,now it goes to 7 mins and the time stops counting down,the machine & lights stil stay on and it says needs service, i really haven't got clue what to do with it.
