Mend Ferroli HE31C Boiler Heating Fault

Ferroli HE31C Summer setting?

Just had this boiler fitted but am unable to get the "Summer" symbol to display or get the boiler to operate in summer mode ie, hot water only, no heating. Is this a fault with the controler?
