My Vectra keeps stalling, just sat at lights ticking over the revs suddenly drop and sometimes it will pick up again but mostly it stalls. How do I fix this please??

try to ajust throttle cable/by the air intake at back of engine you will see cable/ follow this to the left hand side /you can see the cable -just to the left you can see a small clip on cable pull of and pull cable out 1 or2 notches replace clip/ still stalls/ you will see a small screw and nut this is ths throttle stop-undo the nut 1 turn then screw the screw in about half a turn / do nut up and try / if it still stalls do it again / it worked for me /if tickover to fast unajust a little hope this helps

A bit more info would help, e.g. year, engine size and type, petrol or diesel.
This is usually caused by a faulty or dirty idle control valve and throttle body.Removal and cleaning depends on type.Cut and paste the following urls then use the sites search function for more info. You will have to register to use VVOC but it's free.
