How can I fix my Tumble Dryer Hotpoint TDC32S?

what is happening as it trips out?
is the motor running, it should be, to keep the clothes moving, the heater should also be on.
does it do a full cycle after being left? I assume it does not work for a time after it has tripped the circuit,
Possible heater. Only got a heater motor and timer. timer is just a switch. can you select a lower temperature. what if you select a shorter dry cycle. Is it fully vented, if not moisture will build up inside to cause a short
