meagane 99 faulty dials?

i recently bought a renault megane and when driving the dial all drop to zero, stay there for a few seconds then go back to normal. the digital diplay also resets itself. it does this repeatedly. any help would be appreciated. also the car sometimes surges when started for 30 secs or so
