Mend Renault Clio 1998 Warning Light

renualt clio auto gearbox fault?

i have 1998 clio auto, getting a warning light come on dash its yellow, says auto above gearbox shape. only come on when car is cold and going up hill, turn off and restart all ok. have checked and filled transmisson oil. HELP!

Hi, Did you ever get an answer to your question about your clio gearbox fault? Mine is a 99 auto and has had the same problem for a couple of years now. I've searched the internet but haven't come across any possible solutions.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
