Everything's gone blank!!!?

hiya, i've had my tv for 4years and (its a regular bulky telly) its always worked fine. over the last few weeks the picture's had a yellow tinge and some of my virgin media box channels havent been working. I switched everything off at the wall and when i switched it back on i now have no picture at all! its not static thats showing - just black. i've tried the virgin box with another tv and its all working fine so its definately just the tv thats broken.
