Mend Toilet Flushing Push Button

Toilet flushing for about a minute?

I have a push button flush (two buttons) but it is flushing for about a minute. Took the advice about removing the lid, which worked a treat thanks, but I can see nothing obviously wrong. Any ideas?

Not possible for toilets to flush for a minute.

If you mean running into bowl through internal overflow then the arm/float needs adjusting to shut the water off. Not knowing type can't tell you how to.
