how can i get the software to update my samsung SH871M?
My HDD/DVD recorder sometimes has delayed stuttery play back and very slow responses when using the built in TV guide/Freeview. I phoned Samsung but they would not send me the software because I had no receipt. ( I bought it from a auction house.)
How can I get it as I have been told it will fix the problem.
I have just got the firmware update from samsung for my SH-871M on disc and its the firmware for the SH-875 and it works

go to samsung germany and download the firmware for the DVD-SH873 burn the file sh873_080816.ruf to a cd then put it in the samsung dvd-sh871 it will update firmware and all should be ok i have doe this and all working.........
