How can I switch off my Vectra car alarm?

The key fob for my vectra 2.6 V6 2001 car is broken and whenever I manually open the car the alarm goes off until the engine is turned on. I switched off the alarm but a secondary alarm went off. How can I stop this all from happening every time i want to drive somewhere?
