I received a replacement drive belt from espares. I fitted it round the drum and the only visible pulley ( which spins freely), but there is a few inches play in the belt. I have tried rotating the motor but what holds it in place when I move it back and as the pulley spins freely what drives the belt or has something else broken?
pull the motor back with the spring attached as far as you can.this will be hard to hold the motor from springing back.fit the belt around drum and motor shaft and then let the motor tension go.this will allow the black idler wheel to run on the other side of the belt and the black idler wheel will put tension on to the belt.I think you have the black idler wheel on the wrong side of the belt.hope this make sense.easy to do hard to explain
