i have a ford fiesta ghia 2001. i am having trouble with my window washer. when i try to operate it i can hear the pump but no water comes through. i have checked for blockages on the pipes but they seem clear.
I cant locate the pump and cant understand if i can hear the pump running why is it not pumping water to the front and rear windows.
Help!
You have to remove the drivers side wheel and cover. You can then locate the pump. There is a rubber filter on the pump which is probably blocked. Remove the pump (pulls away fron the bottle), wash the rubber filter and put back on - job done.
