How to use VW (Volkswagen) phone prep with any mobile?

Can you pair a bluetooth mobile with the factory fitted phone prep on a VW (2006+) (Volkswagen) ? I have a cradle but not the correct one for my phone and they don't make a cradle for any decent or recent phones. Plus the cradles are over £100 each...

Yes you can. I have technical doc. to do this - email me with your address and I can post a photocopy. It allows all bluetooth phones to be linked with the cradle that sits in the vw prep system (it can be any cradle, but must have 2 buttons on the front). Might also work if you have a telephone graphic on your steering wheel (not tried this way).grahamwiseman@hotmail.com
