How do I reset my Scantronic 9651 Alarm?

The thing has been blarring out all morning. The spanner has a red light on front panel and an intermitent message Lid tamper/reset required. Manual gone walkies. Can you help?

my alarm has got a batt missing sign on the panel. i took the panel of the box and the alarm when off. i re attatched it and managed to turn the alarm off. This wont let me now re set the alarm. the sign of batt missing is still there. i have tried numerous codes to get it fixed but it wont let me. can you advise me on this please?

If you have no manual or the manual/s give no indication on how to reset the unit without the code then afraid you will have to call an engineer.
Meanwhile you can e-mail me for a copy of my Scantronic 9452 my guess would be the reset of NVM will be the same but it's your responsiblity if you accept this information
