My koss dvd player stops playing dvd midway?

recently my dvd player has either stopped completely or slow to the point I have to stop it manually How do I take care of the problem? I have a surround sound Koss dvd mp3 cd player it is only 11 months old. model KS5190

The unit is probably heating up and tryin to shut down. The model has a bad fan, causing this overheat. Check that both fans are running when it begins to slow down. If none or one is running, replace the fans. If both are runnning then there is another problem.
