I put a load into my above model tumble dryer only to find it gave out a humming noise with no spin.
Took the load back out and switched it on empty and it just about started, i put a few items of clothing back in and it ran but it certainly wasn't happy.
take lid off,undo and remove the righthand side panel as you look from the front.you will see the motor and mounted to the front plastic housing a capacitor.this it probably the faulty part that needs replacing.under £20.straight forward swop out and connect.easy diy job.
