How do I install an altenator on a diesel for fiesta N reg 97-99?

Is there much difference to installing an altenator on a diesel car as to a petrol fuelled car?

does anyone a few simple but helpful guidelines for me to use when doing this, also a picture is always really helpful.
My mother in law would be so overjoyed if O could get this done for her!

There is no diff installing it on a diesel than a petrol.
first thing to do is disconnected battery. take note of the way the altenator belt runnes around the pulleys. removed the belt. then the wires going to the altenator. then remove altenator
