Fix My Diplomat Dishwasher?

I have an semi-intergrated diplomat dishwasher sorry I do not know the model number but from my research it appears to be very basic with just one selector dial to select any of the three programs and a start push button, it is also stainless steel.
When I start the machine all functions normally until it comes to the fill cycle and then it attempts to fill, stops, flashes the program light and the start light, retries by attempting to fill, stops, flashes lights and so on for a total of 31 times and then fills normally and runs the program until it gets to the rinse cycle and repeats the fill, stop, flash again for 31 times until it eventually finishes the full programme. This it does consistantly, irrespective of the program selection. I have tried all the reset features I can find, filter cleaning, no water is left in the machine at the end of any cycle, but still have the issue, any help would be greatly appreciated.
