Aqualisa shower dripping?

Hi, any help appreciated. I have an Aqualisa thermo, mixer shower, about 5 years old, and for the last year or so it drips from the bottom of the plastic unit, this has recently got worse, I live in a hard water area in london, is it worth replacing washers and seals or is it cheaper to replace whole unit ??

The thermostat cartridge needs replacing. Look on net. Pay about £80. Easy to fit, but need to turn off mains water hot and cold first
