Mend New World Elegance Clock Gas Cooker

How can I fix the clock on my New World Elegance integral gas cooker?

The digital clock has gone wrong and keeps doing odd things which means it cuts off the gas supply. It keps showing the A sign for auto cooking, then flashing zeros, then it shows wird times for a while, then goes back to 0.00 and flashes. It's hit and miss whether I can get it to light and getting sreadily worse.
