HOW DO I GET TO THE WASHER BOTTLE ON MY 1999 MONDEO?

It is awkward to do, but you access it from the right hand wheel arch. Take the wheel off which exposes the plastic wheel arch covers which you can remove as well. There are three bolts holding the container, two at the front and one at the back. Be careful also of the pump wires, you will need to unclip them before you lift the washer bottle up and out. It would be a good time to give it all a thorough washing as the screen wash fluid sometimes forms a yukky jelly substance in the bottom of the bottle. Hope this helps. andy

You need to take off the "valence" panel that covers the underside of the engine, about 8 crosshead screws to undo, the the whole plastic/fibre panel drops down, the underside off the washer bottle (where the outlet valve/pipe assembly is) is revealed....
