Sharp er 3110 cash register comes up 0.0000LK?

After you change the battery you need to reset and re program the Cash. To clear the error (reset) do the following :
1-Turn off and unplug cash.
2-Turn key to SV position (the unamed position before PGM2)
3-Press and maitain both "jornal feed" and "receipt feed" key while pluging back the cash.There will be a change on the display and the 0.000lk mesage will be removed from display.
From now you will have now to indicate position of primary keys (0,1 ... )to the cash CPU it will ask you to press the keys one after the other . Then proceed with normal programming sequence .... you need the programation manual to reprogram properly and I do not have it .

Hi.
It looks like you have too many decimal places. If this has happened suddenly, then you have probably lost all programming due to battery failure (you should have the battery replaced every three years). However, it is alos showing lock (LK), which means you have not loggoed on to use it. If you have clerk keys that slot into the front, then push that into the machine. Otherwise you need to sign on with a clerk number then the clerk button (CLK)
