Mend Diplomat Tablet Cycle Open

Diplomat dish washer not 'ejecting' powder or tablet?

My Diplomat dish washer does a full cycle but when I open it at the end the tablet or powder are still in the door, although the little trap door is open. Does anybody know what controls the door to open it?

The trap door is opened by a solenoid and this should happen at the start of the hot wash cycle. Check that your upper basket is engaging fully with the water connector at the back. It sounds like the basket is stopping the door opening so it actually only opens when you open the door after the shows over!
