on my computer it says i cannot sign into msn messenger because of a problem with my internet connection (i know my internet is fine) then i can click troubleshoot and see if anything is wrong with me computer and it says nothing is wrong how do i fix my computer so my msn will work?
I'm also haveing the same Problem, but i've also removed IE from my computer so there is no way for me to go uncheck the item in IE. LOL

Check that internet explorer is not set to work in offline mode as this causes the same problem.
You can check it under Internet Explorer -> File -> Work Offline. Make sure it is not ticked.

i also have this problem occasionally.there is not a problem with your internet connection i wouldnt think as mine also says this from time to time.the problem could be that you are behind a firewall that is not allowing access to msn.make sure that your firewall is working correctly if you have one or if you have one but are not using it i would suggest that you do so as this always works for me
