Mend Gainsborough Heating Water Element

How do I fix a shower that won't get hot?

We have a Gainsborough 10.5 delux, and this has stopped heating the water as it comes through the shower.

I presume that the element has gone, is this something that can be repaired, or should I quit while I'm ahead, and replace the shower?
