Mend Singer 14SH754 Sewing Machine Threading Fabric

I have a new Singer serger and the needle keeps coming unthreaded. I can produce the initial chain ok but as soon as the needle "hits" the fabric it comes unthreaded. Am I doing something wrong? I have checked the looper threadings and they are correct according to the manual.

Hello Marion,
Slacken the tension off slightly, any problems with sergers you are far better off getting the machine in for adjustment.
