Mend Dodge Engine Coolant Leak

lossing water?

i am lossing water not to much but have to put about a quarter pint in every 2 weeks,could it be a dodgey water pump its not the head as the oil is ok

my wifes rover 214 started losing water. over a period of about 2 months upto losing 2 - 3 pints. was the water pump. get it fixed straight away as the head gasket will be next. my pump cost £20 and the garage charged me 2 1/2hrs x £60/hr labour - cos they had to remove timing belt! otherwise head gasket is £500!!! until you get it done top up with anti-freeze mixture not just water - like my misses did. especially in this weather.
