I recently installed a software to clean my hard drive and I erased everything including the OS, how can I get a copy of windows xp, I do have the key code just need the software.
I tried contacting Sony but I need to pay in order to speak to a tech agent. Any suggestions?
You may not have lost the OS. The laptop may have built in recovery option or you may have a recovery CD supplied with the laptop. It most likely will not be a XP CD as such supplied, but a Sony Recovery CD for the laptop.
