White knight tumble dryer CL447 WV?

The door catch sags below level it needs to be at in order to close machine. I forced it, and it snapped.ve stretched due to balancing wet washing on it while loading the drum.It seems possible that I need only buy a new hinge and a new catch, and not replace the whole door.Is this a common problem andd have you diagnosed this problem before?

there is a plastic pin mounted to the door frame that goes through a hole in the front of the cabinet and makes contact with a micro switch which then puts power to the appliance.has it broken off?.
