Mend Ferroli optimax 25c Fault Code Central Heating

Ferroli optimax 25c boiler not working !?

The boiler (ferroili optimax 25c) in the house which i'm renting has stopped working christmas day i've no hot water or central heating and the fault code is "F" 37 i can't get intouch with th landlord or get anyone to look at it until after the new year i have small kids which need the hot water

can anyone help point me in the right direction is it something i can do or do i need a technician.

ignore id**t above. system pressure on sealed system should be 1 bar when cold. anything near 3 and safety valve could discharge as well as leak out of any suspect pipework. system pressure gauge could be blocked. should be a silver filling loop that connects from cold water inlet on boiler to heating return pipe under boiler, open valve or valves slowly until pressure at 1-1.5 bar then reset boiler. if no good call engineer.

there's a few taps underneath the boiler is it the blue one ? do i just turn it and leave it ? is there any propper way i should do this ?

cant fix it completely but i had the same problem. you need to repressurise the system. there should be a tap to release water into the system. you want it around 2.5 - 3 bar
