Mend Renault 19 Clutch Pedal Cable

how do i repair my clutch pedal on a renault 19?

the clutch pedal has gone to the floor but the cable hasn't snapped on my renault 19. before it went when i pressed the clutch it sometimes clicked so i would have to press it again until it would bite.

there is a small ratchet above the pedal which is a common fault in renault 19 part should cost about £8 the job is quite tricky as the clutch & brake pedals both have to come off best to get it done for you but make sure cable hasn't snapped inside sheathing
