the screen is just blank when i turn it on, its been working fine and i havent dropped it or anything. ive tryed turning it off and on agen and taking the sim and battery out and i dont know what else to do.
i have broken the charger / usb socket on the main board i have got a new socket how do i fit one

It's not the ribbon or the screen, I had the same problem and tried re-newing both...phone still u/s

I dont know if it is your screen. You will have a clue when you turn on the machine and if the lit buttons light up,and you can hear the usual tones when pressing the buttons and you get some sounds out of the machine then I would guess that you need a screen.

Needs a new ribbon, you can buy them cheap on ebay.
