Lee, on your engine you have what is called a throttle positioning sensor, some cars are equiped with electric ones, and some with vaccum. These are very easy to change, and cheap, go to your local auto part store purchase the part, pop your hood and look around on top of the engine near the throttle body, Look for the part, oh most impossible to get it mixed up with another part. Now after locating, first unhook the positive battery terminal, then replace the part, put battery terminal back. its that simple, start car and see if that cures the problem if not let me know..
