try downloading the latest version of ccleaner from filehippo.com.all downloads on this site are free. run this cleaner on a daily basis, and you will see a dramatic difference in the way that your pc responds. it also scans your pc registry for any errors, and gives you the option to fix issues. i have been using this software fo a while now, and have had no trouble at all. pleae let me know if this solved the problem.cheers, Tony.

if it was running faster previously you may have picked up some spyware/malware. download spybot search and destroy,it's free, google it, and scan your computer
