transit 01 plate 280 swb?

had the same problem with my transit could not select any gears as the selector rod on the top of the gearbox was siezed what i did was i took the selector unit off cleaned up the rod which selects the gears then oiled to free up a good clart of grease on rod and bobs your uncle also had to fit a new gear cable as the old one was stretched hope this helps
