my ariston margherita 2000 washer dryer makes low buzzing sound?

those buttons are supposed to be pushed in during cycle, the picture of a "door" on one of the dryer dials is the easy iron funtion ie: it cools clothes down for 20 mins prior to end of cycle. as for no heat from the dryer could be any amount of problems.

hi lisa, unfortunately i dont know the answer to your question, but i have the same washer/dryer, only bought it from paper couple of days ago, but got no manual. i was wondering if you could help me, as u got the same machine. when my tumble dryer is on, it does not heat up at all. after half an hour of it being on, its still cold and washing still wet. im not sure if i got it set right. those two buttons, one for time and one for temperature, should i leave them pushed in,or pushed out? does it make a differencce? and what should i set them to? what picture?on timer button, what do those pictures of door mean?
