I have a renault 1.9dti (not common rail) 1996
it is showing several faults on the diagnostic which re-appear when erased.it wont start and all the normal things have been checked.it is a fuel problem as it will run with easy start. the doors have to be opened with the remote before you can start it anyway.
there are no air locks timing marks ok (must be to run on easy start)
any ideas?

fuel lift pump gone?
Crack the injectors open ever so slightly and turn the engine. If no fuel then move to the injector pump fuel inlet. Again crack open the joint slightly and crank the engine. If no fuel then lift pump is gone or block in fuel filter or line from tank.
