My mother has an R reg nissan micra and tells me there are two small red flashing lights on the dash board. They flash alternatley even when the ignition is off and the key removed. The car has a new battery. She is worried if she leaves it overnight the battery will flatten. What do these lights mean? Does the car need urgent attention?
Not had experience of the early Micra however my R reg Primera has two very small red flashing lights. They are part of the Nissan security system and it means all is well and helps ward off would be car thieves.
They are LED's and on my car, one is on the radio facia the other on the dash and would take years to make any noticeable drain on a car battery!
