I dont know a lot about aqualisa valves, but if it helps... The most common type has a sealed for life cartridge which is usually marked pink , blue or grey indicating its type , either pressure balancing , thermostatic or manual. The cartridge normally pulls out after the fixings are removed. If it is passing water through the shower head check if its hot or cold. The drip is either down to wear n tear (replace the cartridge) Or Excessive system pressure ( fit an expansion vessel) have you had a heating system upgrade. People often replace low pressure heating systems with combis which are mains pressure then fail to check if there existing shower is compatible....The worst scenario is if its an old model the cartridge sits in a housing the rear of which is a dome that accepts the rear of the cartridge. This dome sometimes fractures causing water to pass it which its a good excuse for a new shower Good Luck
