Mend Fine Yesterday Today

How can I retrieve my files from my broken USB stick?

My USB stick worked fine yesterday but today a number if computers cannot recognize it. The "stick" part that is inserted is loose, I assume this is the problem. Is there ANY WAY to recover the files? They are more important to me than just buying a new stick (which I will do).
