Mend Water Coming Door

Water coming over doorframe?

When it rains. the upvc door sill overflows and the water enters the house. I have previously drlled small holes in the sill hoping the water will drain away but it doesn't. any ideas would be helpful

Hi John
You willprobably need to replace the rubber seals around the door to stop it entering the frame section. Small holes wont work due to surface tension. The holes will need to be larger say 10mm. You need to be sure where the water is flowing to.
