my renault scenic wont start ive charged the battery changed the plugs but when i turn the key theres nothing but a click from the dash board any suggestions

Well, you know I had just this problem a couple of weeks ago. It was simply that the steering lock was on. Why, oh why does this cause the engine to be cut-off?? You can't exactly drive without turning the wheel, which would take the steering lock off anyway.
